Angel Reese expressed pride in the Chicago Sky’s 2-1 record, insisting it had nothing to do with Caitlin Clark. After the Sky’s 90-81 win over the New York Liberty, Reese took to social media, appearing to distance the team’s success from Clark.
Although he intended to shift the focus, his comments indirectly highlighted Clark, criticizing him and making Reese seem small, as noted by Charles Barkley.
Commenting on his win, Reese wrote, “and that’s about getting a WIN in a crowd and not just the cause of one player in our charter plane.”
