AC Milan transfer news Rossoneri target Dortmund key back

AC Milan are planning a move to sign Mats Hummels as a free agent this summer, according to reports.
Hummels has been instrumental in Borussia Dortmund’s run to the Champions League final this season. However, the German defender’s contract is set to expire this summer and it is understood he will not sign a new deal.
That means Saturday’s clash with Real Madrid at Wembley will be Hummels’ second-last as a Dortmund player, leaving the 35-year-old looking for a new club.
Hummels himself has given an update on his future, concluding that he will move to a place like MLS, but admitting that he is more likely to leave Dortmund.
“The feeling is that the end right now is a possible situation. I can continue elsewhere. There are 3 options: BVB, retirement or another club. Ending is currently the least option. ” Hummels said (via Get Football News Germany).
He went on to say: “What I’m wasting is a transfer abroad, to the USA or something similar. If I leave Borussia Dortmund and go to another European country, my son plays a very big role in this. That’s why I’m clearly saying that the scandals like the USA are coming from me. If I go, I will stay in Europe.”
