Australian news – Jason Sangha and Mackenzie Harvey sign with South Australia

It is understood that Sangha is likely to join the Adelaide Strikers in the BBL after playing just two games for the Sydney Thunder last year as he captained the team.
Harvey, 23, did not receive a contract last summer as he lost his contract with Victoria at the end of last season. The left-hander has never played Shield cricket and will play his last 13 Marsh Cup matches in 2022. But it comes off his best season of level cricket as he started the season playing in the Queensland Premier Cricket tournament scoring three hundreds on the Sunshine Coast. before returning to Victoria to help his Victoria Premier team Carlton win the first grade premiership, making 140 in the semi-final.
“After the 2023/24 season, we saw the need to improve our batting and have done so by recruiting Jason and Mackenzie,” said Harris.
“At only 20 years old, both players bring a lot of talent to the lineup and we’re excited to see what they can do.
“We look forward to welcoming Jason and Mackenzie to South Australia later this year.”
