Curmel Moton is a young, focused athlete who always works out in the gym. Because of his good performance, Moton was willing to accept his upcoming fight with two weeks’ notice.

Moton made his professional debut at the age of 17, as he stopped his first two opponents in the opening round. In the third round of his professional career, Moton would face undefeated Anthony Cuba, a four-division world champion fighter and Leo Santa Cruz.

Back in March 2024, Curmel Moton and Anthony Cuba faced off on the undercard of Tim Tszyu vs Sebastian Fundora. Anthony Cuba accomplished something Moton’s first two opponents were unable to do, as he was knocked out in the first round.

Moton came a long way from his last fight, but plans to retire his July 6 belt early. Moton has made a habit of trying to stop his opponents early because he has adopted the motto ‘boxing doesn’t pay overtime.’
