Draymond Green Rips Rudy Gobert For Lost Game 2

After changing his tune on Rudy Gobert recently, Draymond went back to criticizing him this week.
Gobert was named the Defensive Player of the Year on Tuesday — the fourth time he’s received the award, which ties him for a league record.
But, Green had a conflict with Gobert missing Game 2 against the Timberwolves to be there for the birth of his first child.
“I was a little skeptical [of the Timberwolves] he started the game because Rudy would have missed the game,” said Green The Draymond Green Show on tuesday. “I feel like, I’m a father of four, I love my kids and I love my wife, but she’s going to have to hold me for a few hours to play the playoffs. Me, myself.
“But number one, I congratulate him. Whenever we bring new life into this world, it is something special. And that’s something I said, as a father of four, I don’t take lightly at all. But I also try not to take this game for granted.”
Green went on to wonder if Gobert would have made the same decision if the T-Wolves were down after the first game.
“So when I heard that Rudy wasn’t going to play, I was like, ‘Wow,’ ” Green said. “To me, it almost felt like he almost put it in, like, ‘We won Game 1,’ because my first immediate question was, if they lose Game 1, is it going to be the same?
“If you lose Game 1 and you’re in danger of going down 0-2, will it be the same or will you be there?”
But that doesn’t matter, because Minnesota completely embarrassed Denver on their home court in Game 2 with a very dangerous defense.
