In the 41st game of ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 at Sir Vivian Richards Stadium, Antigua, South Africa defeated the United States of America by 18 runs. Electing to bowl first after winning the toss, USA faced a South African batting line-up which posted a good total of 194/4 in their allotted 20 overs.

However, the USA’s middle order was ineffective compared to South Africa’s bowling attack, especially Rabada, whose tenacity was crucial in securing his team’s victory.
South Africa’s 18-run win confirmed their strong position in Super 8 Group 2, while the USA, despite losing, showed their ability with some impressive individual performances.
