NBA expert Shams Charania reports that LeBron James is not involved in the Los Angeles Lakers head coach search. The Lakers are looking for a new coach following the firing of Darvin Ham.
Contrary to rumors, James has no role in the new coach’s decision making. Speculation has suggested that hiring JJ Redick could be a ploy to appease James, who will enter contract negotiations this summer.
Charania clarified on FanDuel TV’s Run It Back that James has not discussed Redick with the Lakers.
