At the launch event, Narine expressed his gratitude to the fans and the entire KKR family.
“As I walked into the ground today, it felt like 2012. The feeling is overwhelming and I couldn’t have asked for a better birthday present. I am enjoying my cricket at the moment – batting, bowling and running. What helps is when the team wins,” said Narine after being announced as the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the IPL 2024 season.
The 3-year-old scored 488 runs and picked 17 wickets to help KKR win the prestigious title.
