Less rotation and more distance? What to expect from the Titleist Pro V1, Pro V1x and Pro V1x Left Dash balls

Titleist has introduced the Pro V1, Pro V1x and Pro V1x Left Dash golf balls that feature improved alignment.

The extended steering side stamp, intended for more precision and precise aim, is a new tool for Advanced Alignment.

The extended side stamp is over 65% longer than the standard Pro V1 stamp and has an integrated viewing aid.

“Advanced Alignment is designed for golfers who want a more detailed, built-in alignment feature on their Pro V1, Pro V1x or Pro V1x Left Dash. We’ve seen a lot of interest in the monochromatic line on the Pro V1 Performance Alignment, and this is another option for players who prefer a slightly different look. ” – Jeremy Stone, Vice President, Titleist Golf Ball Marketing

Titleist offers more than forty different alignment aid designs on the Pro V1 fourth pole, which is side stamped, in addition to Advanced Alignment, and can be customized by placing an order at Titleist.com.

Orders for the Pro V1, Pro V1x, and Pro V1x Left Dash Enhanced Alignment golf balls opened on May 17 in the United States exclusively at authorized Titleist stores and online at titleist.com. On July 1, Advanced Alignment will be available everywhere in the world where Titleist equipment is stocked and sold.

The addition of a left dash fits Titleist’s range of CPO (Custom Performance Option) models.

“CPO models are designed to fit players with very different needs and preferences,” said Titleist Golf Ball R&D Tour Consultant Fordie Pitts.

“They may start with a slightly different window to fit the player’s eye, give more or less twist, or feel softer or firmer. CPOs give us more tools in the toolbox to improve and personalize the performance of our travel partners.”

The Pro V1x Left Dash ball is designed for golfers who want low spin on every shot. It has the same sports plane characteristics as the Pro V1x (top plane) but with a higher compression design, resulting in lower spin and a tighter feel than both the Pro V1 and Pro V1x.

Many players report seeing gains in ball speed and driver distance while using the Pro V1x Left Dash ball.

Any golfer looking to lighten their wallet may benefit from some of the functionality of the Pro V1x Left Dash.
