Lyndon Arthur returns to action to take on Liam Cameron on June 21
Lyndon Arthur will be determined to prove he is still one of the best in the world when he fights Liam Cameron, live and free in the UK on Channel 5, on Friday June 21.
Fighting for the first time since his big clash with Dmitry Bivol in Saudi Arabia, last December, Arthur will face Cameron at the Toughsheet Community Stadium, and ‘King Arthur’ is focused on getting back into contention as soon as possible.
The 32-year-old came out of his 12-round fight against Bivol on credit, and at Return of the King next month he will have the task of reminding everyone why he is one of the best fighters in the world at 175kg.
But first, Arthur must defeat a very determined Cameron, who is looking to make up for lost time after completing a five-year hiatus late last year.
The Sheffield fighter, a former national champion, faces Arthur after taking out his last two opponents in the first round.
“On June 21 I’m back and I’m ready to get back on track,” said Lyndon Arthur. “Cameron is hungry for this, and he will ruin my plans, but I will not allow him to restart his career by defeating me. It doesn’t happen.”
“Everyone knows what I’ve been through, but the struggle will help me, if I make noise on June 21,” said Liam Cameron. “Winning Lyndon Arthur will put my career on a new level and great opportunities as this one doesn’t come around often, so I will make the most of it. This will be the night that changes my life.”
