Manchester United are considering keeping Erik ten Hag as manager, a new report claims, despite allegations to the contrary.

Ahead of the FA Cup final, it was reported that United officials had decided to part ways with Ten Hag without a result at Wembley. The Red Devils went on to defeat Manchester City and lift the last piece of silverware available this season.

Since then, however, several reports have insisted that a decision on Ten Hag will only be made in the run-up to next season.

Now, i Manchester Evening News State United have not ruled out keeping Ten Hag and have even told their replacements that there may not be a vacancy at Old Trafford this summer.

The ten-year-old Hag is still under contract for another year and has an option for another 12 months added to his current deal.

Discussions have been held with several potential replacements. Thomas Tuchel and Mauricio Pochettino, both out of a job, are reportedly keen on a move to Old Trafford.

Ten Hag’s future will be decided in next season’s review, which will show all the details of United, rather than focusing only on the team’s performance.
