Mohamed Salah scored on his return to the starting XI as Liverpool survived a shock 4-2 win over Tottenham in the Premier League.
The Reds looked formidable at times in Jurgen Klopp’s home game from the penalty spot at Anfield and took the lead through their talisman, who headed past Guglielmo Vicario early on.

The Brazilian has named captain Heung-Min Son to strengthen in the Merseyside sun.
Salah had a goal ruled out in stoppage time for offside in the build-up, but the Reds held on to win the game.
The defeat marks Tottenham’s fourth in a row in the Premier League, something they haven’t done since 2004.
Newcastle are four points behind the London club and Chelsea and Manchester United are two behind, with three games left for Ange Postecoglou’s players.
After losing to Chelsea on Thursday night, the Australian Spurs coach was hoping his players would respond, but they looked to be doing their best.
Son was absent in the final third and struggled to hold the ball in midfield.
The chances they did get came from Brennan Johnson, but he showed a lack of quality with his last ball – which was the story of his season.
At the back, Emerson Royal also filled in for the absent Destiny Udogie and Ben Davies and had a terrible time against Salah and was withdrawn in the second half, perhaps later than he should have been.
Little did he know that the Egyptian was sneaking in behind him to score Liverpool’s first goal, allowing the winger to have a free header.

Salah made a clever mistake and Vicario headed in from the near post, giving his side the lead they deserved.
It remained a one-way street from that point, with Spurs’ lack of a creative midfielder costing them and Rodrigo Bentancur often turning into trouble and being hunted by Elliott, Alexis Mac Allister and Wataru Endo.
Andy Robertson and Trent Alexander-Arnold were given their usual license to go forward, and the latter drove wide on numerous occasions, with the former netting his second goal of the afternoon.
The Scottish player followed Salah’s strike that was pushed in his path by the goalkeeper and ran to celebrate with the crowd which was a joyous afternoon for the home team.
Royal were again at fault in the second half when Liverpool scored a third goal, directing a cross to Salah, who held Elliott to head into the top corner after riding on a half-volley challenge from Bentancur.
Spurs were then caught on the counter for the fourth time and a fine move was completed by Gakpo, who did well to beat Romero – who is usually aggressive in the air – to the ball past Vicario.
A number of changes were made by Postecoglou during that time and Richarlison, Giovani Lo Celso and Oliver Skipp brought a new burst of energy to the pitch.

Richarlison turned home a cross to silence a raucous Anfield crowd and slotted in successfully after Virgil van Dijk lifted it, leading to Spurs’ second goal from Son, who was composed enough to slot into the net with a flurry of balls. Liverpool defenders.
It wasn’t enough to go back but Postecoglou could take a positive in the last 10 minutes of the game.
Liverpool are not statistically out of the title race yet, but could be at the bottom of the next round of fixtures if both Arsenal and Manchester City win their games.
