“We [Pakistan] just needed to score 120 runs [to win] on a pitch where India was 35-40 runs short [in the first innings] but with the good throwing of the bowlers, we failed to get even 120 runs. It was a 120-run match from 120 balls. Why? Because we [Pakistan] We always criticize the bowlers for not stopping the teams in small amounts because that is our mentality that we don’t just want to score runs,” Afridi said.

The former cricketer expressed his dismay at the way Pakistan performed in the 2024 T20 World Cup and their recent matches, expressing his frustration and lack of hope.

“We [Pakistan] failed to get that much value with a strong batting order. I have no words. All I have is disappointment,” Afridi concluded.
