Stephen Kircher inducted into the Michigan Golf Hall of Fame, 2024

Stephen Kircher, President and CEO of Boyne Resorts, was inducted into the Michigan Golf Hall of Fame along with Greg Johnson, an award-winning sports journalist, and Kevin VandenBerg, a multiple-time golf champion from Mattawan. The induction ceremony was held at Ferris State University at Katke Golf Course.

The Legacy Continues

Stephen Kircher, son of Hall of Famer Everett Kircher, leads the largest family-owned four-season franchise in North America, making them the third parent-child duo in the MGHOF. His contributions to the Michigan golf industry are commendable. “Everett was a pioneer of golf in the state of Michigan, and today, Stephen continues that vision with BOYNE Golf,” said Bernie Friedrich, Director of Golf Course Renovations and Development for Boyne Resorts.

Prizes and Donations

Kircher’s contributions to golf extend beyond the game. He has been instrumental in the growth and development of Michigan’s golf industry. Greg Johnson, a veteran sports reporter, has covered Michigan’s major golf tournaments for four decades, and Kevin VandenBerg has excelled at the national and state levels.
