The Red Devils are opening talks with the Premier League manager

Erik ten Hag’s Manchester United career is still uncertain after winning the FA Cup by beating Premier League champions Manchester City.

An important victory was expected to give the Ten Hag hope for his future at Old Trafford.

However, according to The Telegraph, the Red Devils have held talks with representatives of Brentford manager Thomas Frank.

Ten Hag’s job at the club is in jeopardy after a disappointing season in the Premier League which saw Man United finish eighth, their worst ever finish in the league.

The report claims that Man United have opened talks with Frank’s agents as they explore the managerial market to find a replacement for their current boss.

A number of managers have been linked with the Old Trafford job since the arrival of Sir Jim Ratcliffe and INEOS at the helm.

England manager Gareth Southgate, recently sacked Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino and former Brighton and Chelsea manager Graham Potter have all been linked with the Man United job.

Ten Hag’s difficulties in the team have not been helped by the injury problem that Man United has experienced this season.

Thomas Frank to Man United?

The Dutch manager was unable to play his best mid-season series with key players out through injury.

The Red Devils finished eighth in the league and initially missed out on qualifying for Europe, however, after winning the FA Cup final, they booked a place in the Europa League for next season.

Man United should keep faith with Ten Hag

Man United should show their trust in Ten Hag as even after the difficulties he faced, he has won two trophies in two seasons in this club.

These players have spent two seasons with the former manager of Ajax and keeping Ten Hag in the team will give the Red Devils continued stability.

Finding a new manager will start the project from scratch and it will take at least one season for the club to get back on track.
