Ukraine take the lead against Slovakia with Yaremchuk’s goal

Ukraine scored a late goal against Slovakia and completed the comeback.

They scored through Valencia’s 28-year-old Roman Yaremchuk, who looked like a winner against Slovakia’s stubborn defenders.

Their consistent pressure has paid off and they have once again broken the deadlock and may now be on their way to a major victory.

Yaremchuk has now scored more goals in the European Championship than any other player in Ukrainian history (3), overtaking Andriy Shevchenko.

The striker managed to stay on the sideline and controlled the ball with a light touch before beating the Slovakian goalkeeper.
