WATCH: Dwayne Bravo’s special dance moves after catching Evin Lewis at CPL 2024

During the 25th match of the Caribbean Premier League (CPL) 2024 in the middle Trinbago Knight Riders again St Kitts and Nevis Patriots, Dwayne Bravo stole the show with his trademark dance after a key catch. Known for his fun personality and unique on-field antics, Bravo also brought smiles to fans’ faces with his sweet post-catch dance.

A memorable incident happened in the first over of the Patriots’ innings. Akeal Hoseinbowler, delivered a perfect delivery to Evin Lewistempting him to drive. The ball took a healthy edge and flew to the slip where Bravo was placed. Bravo made no mistake, comfortably pulling on his catch before breaking into an impromptu dance that sent the crowd into a frenzy. Lewis has just 2 runs from 5 balls, caught by Bravo off Hosein’s delivery, marking the first success of the Knight Riders.

Nicholas Pooran powers Trinbago to a comfortable win

Despite losing Lewis early, the St Kitts and Nevis Patriots recovered well and posted a competitive total of 193/4 in their 20 overs. Their batting line-up put in a solid performance, with significant contributions from the middle order. However, their efforts will prove insufficient in the face of Trinbago’s ferocious pursuit.

Answering the Patriots’ total, Trinbago Knight Riders chased down the target with ease, reaching 197/3 in just 18.3 overs to win the match by seven wickets. The hero of the innings was Nicholas Pooranwho played an extraordinary knock of 93 runs off just 43 balls. Pooran’s explosives included six boundaries and seven sixes, scoring an impressive 216.28. His powerful batting made the chase look easy, as Trinbago secured a big win.

This victory saw Trinbago Knight Riders move up to 4th place in CPL 2024 with 10 points. Their scores are now equal Guyana Amazon Warriors again Barbados Royalswho took 2nd and 3rd place, respectively. The race for the playoffs is hot, and Trinbago are showing their intent with a commanding performance.

For the St Kitts and Nevis Patriots, however, the tournament was a disaster. After winning their opening game, they have lost nine times in a row, and are on the bottom of the points table. With a 10-match winning streak, the Patriots’ chances of progressing in the tournament are over, as they struggle to find any sort of form in this year’s CPL.
