Major League Cricket (MCL) 2024: Complete list of international players signed for the second season

USA’s second season Major League Cricket (MCL) begins on July 5, just a week after the continuation ICC T20 World Cup 2024 and cricket fans are buzzing with anticipation.
On Tuesday, the official list of all international signatories was revealed by MLC CEO Vijay Srinivasan in a press release.
The returning stars are lighting up the league
The six MLC franchises are allowed to retain a total of 23 international players from the first season. Here are some of the big names that are returning to popular audiences:
MI New York: Nicholas Pooran (West Indies), Kieron Pollard (West Indies), Dewald Brevis (South Africa), Kagiso Rabada (South Africa), Tim David (Australia), Rashid Khan (Afghanistan), Trent Boult (New Zealand)
Seattle Orcas: Quinton de Kock (South Africa), Heinrich Klaasen (South Africa), Wayne Parnell (South Africa), Imad Wasim (Pakistan)
Texas Super Kings: Faf du Plessis (South Africa), Devon Conway (New Zealand), Mitchell Santner (New Zealand)
San Francisco Unicorns: Finn Allen (New Zealand), Haris Rauf (Pakistan)

A new face joins the fray
A host of Australian stars including Pat Cummins, Glenn Maxwell again Marcus Stoinis will be seen at MLC this year.
“Signing a world-class player like Pat Cummins is a testament to the talent the league attracts, underlining our global impact and inaugural season success,” said Srinivasan in a press release.
“It elevates the level of competition fans will see and experience at home and demonstrates our commitment to bringing the world’s best players to play in the American league,” he added.
