Paul George Gets Destroyed By Teammate After Missing Game-winner
Paul George was once ridiculously fouled by a teammate after he tried to take the last shot and missed badly.
This information comes from former Pacers guard Jeff Teague, who shared the story on the Club 520 Podcast.
“I don’t know if you’ll remember this series, but I remember Game 1, CJ (Miles) had a chance to win,” Teague said. “He took it and missed, and PG was like, ‘I’ve got to take that shot’. Do you remember that? So CJ was my man. CJ was like, ‘Damn Teague, was that a bad shot?’ I’m like, ‘Sh*t bro it’s the best shot we can get’. As you get closer hit that m*therf*cker.
“No bullsh*t, Game 4, same thing happened. They threw it to CJ (with the game on the line), that ni**a CJ chased that one down on the PG and missed. He hit the side of the backboard, hard ass. You won’t even come close.
“We go into the locker room, there’s no bullsh*t like, ‘The bad season is over, f*ck it, I’m going to bed. Time to go have fun. This ni**a CJ, you did this to me,” said Teague showing his phone. “It was a Gatorade commercial … but somebody added where they put a gun, I was rollin’.
Here’s an edited version of the commercial Teague is referring to:
“My fault, CJ, don’t shoot me bruh,” Teague said as he talked to him revealing what was going on behind the scenes. “That shit was just a funny dawg.”
