After the impressive victory, the CEO of KKR Venky Mysore He praised the team for their amazing performance. In a video shared by KKR on X, Mysore expressed his pride and gratitude for the players and support staff.
“I want to congratulate everyone. It’s a very special moment and it’s still surreal. It will take time for all of this to sink in, but congratulations to the entire team. You know it can’t happen without the combined effort of everyone—those in the front, the back, and everyone else. Congratulations to the coach, GG, captain, the entire team, and support staff. Great job today,” Mysore said.

Shah Rukh Khan’s special award
The celebration included a joyous moment when Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan, owner of KKR, received a special award. SRK was honored with the ‘Game Change’ award, recognizing his unwavering support and love for the team. The KKR manager expressed his appreciation for SRK’s dedication.
Shah Rukh also expressed his heartfelt gratitude and appreciation, especially to the mentor Gautam Gambhir, affectionately called GG. SRK admitted that he had never personally thanked Gambhir and said that they used to make fun of Gambhir dancing when they won, especially since Sunil (Sunil Narine) used to dance in celebration. He thanked all those involved, wished them good health and expressed hope for their future endeavours.
“I have only one request which is my special thanks to GG. I didn’t thank him in particular. We had decided when we first started that maybe we could dance for him. Sunil already skipped that and danced, so we have to make Gigi dance tonight. Thank you, everyone. You guys are adorable. God bless you, stay healthy, and wherever we go from here on out,” said SRK.
